Removal & Installation

  1. Drain cooling system.
  2. Reposition inlet hose clamp from the radiator. Remove inlet hose from radiator.
  3. Reposition outlet hose clamp from radiator. Remove radiator outlet hose from radiator.
  4. Remove lower fan shroud.
  5. Reposition radiator vent inlet hose clamp from radiator. Remove vent inlet hose from radiator.
  6. Remove engine oil cooler lines from radiator.
  7. Remove transmission oil cooler lines from radiator.
  8. Remove radiator mounting bolts. Remove radiator from vehicle.
  9. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten radiator mounting bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 N.m). Refill and bleed cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING . Check for leaks and coolant level.
