Installation Procedure

  1. Position the engine mount bracket to the frame.
  2. Clean the threads of the engine mount bracket through bolts using denatured alcohol or equivalent.
  3. Apply threadlocker or equivalent to the threads of the engine mount bracket through bolts.
    4. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the engine mount bracket through bolts and tighten.

    Tighten: 100 N.m (74 lb ft) 

  5. Install the right side axle support bracket to vehicle frame nuts and washers. Tighten the nuts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft)  .
  6. Install the right differential carrier mounting nuts and washers. Tighten the nuts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft)  .
  7. Remove the jack from the differential carrier.
  8. Using the adjustable jack, lower the engine until the engine mounts are sitting flush on the engine mount brackets.
  9. Remove the adjustable jack and block of wood from the engine oil pan.

  10. Clean the threads of the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts using denatured alcohol or equivalent.
  11. Apply threadlocker or equivalent to the threads of the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts.
  12. Install the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 65 N.m (48 lb ft)  .
  13. Install the right wheelhouse liner. Refer to FRONT WHEELHOUSE LINER REPLACEMENT - RIGHT SIDE .
  14. Lower the vehicle.
  15. Install the upper intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
  16. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
