Pressure Regulator: Removal

- Raise the vehicle. Remove the transmission oil pan and the filter. See DRAINING & REFILLING
under LUBRICATION.WARNING: Valve springs can be tightly compressed. Use care when removing retainers and plugs. Personal injury could result.
- Remove the reverse boost valve bushing retainer ring (2). See Fig 1 .
- Remove the following from the reverse boost valve cylinder:
- Reverse boost valve bushing. See Fig 2 .
- Reverse boost valve.
- Pressure regulator spring retainer.
- Pressure regulator spring.
- Pressure regulator valve.
- Reverse boost valve bushing.
