Preliminary Procedure: Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
1	Windshield Wiper Transmission Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in) Tip: Secure the fender flange bolt first followed by the nut.
2	Windshield Wiper Transmission Nut Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
3	Windshield Wiper Transmission Assembly Procedure Raise the transmission assembly from the plenum and disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector. Remove the windshield wiper motor from the transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .
