Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear hood seal from the hem flange on the air inlet grille panel.

  5. Remove the screws (1) securing the passenger side air inlet panel (2) to the plenum.
  6. Lift the passenger side air inlet grille panel (2) inward in order to disengage the three integral clips from the driver side panel.
  7. Remove the air inlet panel from the vehicle.

  9. Remove the nut (1) securing the driver side air inlet panel reinforcement brace to the brake booster stud.
  10. Remove the screw (1) securing the air inlet panel to the fender flange.
  11. Lift the driver side air inlet grille panel (3) over the wiper arm drive spindle and disengage the air inlet panel from the seven windshield frame and plenum panel clips.
  12. Remove the driver side air inlet panel from the vehicle.
