CAUTION: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Preliminary Procedure: Disconnect the hood strut rod. Refer to Hood Open Assist Rod Replacement .
1	Hood Hinge Nut (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Procedure Disconnect the windshield washer hose. Transfer components as necessary. Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

Procedure

Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
Transfer components as necessary.

Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
