Preliminary Procedures Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . Remove the air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1	Liquid Lineclamp Procedure: Using J 45689 , disconnect the suction hose from the evaporator by pressing the probe end into the 2 small openings in the plastic quick joint. See Special Tools .
2	Suction Hose Clamp Procedure: Using J 45689 , disconnect the suction hose from the evaporator by pressing the probe end into the 2 small openings in the plastic quick joint. See Special Tools . Special Tools: J 45689 A/C Quick Tool Joint. See Special Tools .
3	Liquid Line Retainer Procedure: Align liquid line with plastic retainer on suction hose bracket.
4	Liquid Line Procedure: Remove and discard sealing washer. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
