Installation Procedure

Install the bracket to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.
Tighten: Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 N.m (67 lb ft).
For the 6.0L engine, install the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LY2, LY5, LH6, L76, L92 and LMG) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LLY/LMM) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LU3) .
Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (1500 FWD) or Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (2500 4WD) .
Lower the vehicle.
