Tools Required

J 38836  Bushing Installer and Clutch Arbor. See Special Tools .

IMPORTANT: The flywheel spacer, if applicable, must be removed prior to pilot bearing installation.
1. Install a 5/8 inch washer (1) onto the J 38836  or equivalent. See Special Tools .
2. Install the new pilot bearing (2) onto the tool.

3. Install the new pilot bearing into the crankshaft using the J 38836  . See Special Tools .

4. Inspect the clutch pilot bearing for proper installation.
