NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedures Remove the center console extension. Refer to Extension Replacement - Floor Console - Center . Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement . Disconnect the shift control cables. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement - Floor Shift (Automatic Transmission) or Shift Cable Replacement (Manual Transmission). Remove the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement .
1	Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Screws (Qty: 2) Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Bolts (Qty: 3) Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
3	Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Assembly Tip: Remove the shift control assembly from the instrument panel center support bracket. Refer to Floor Shift Control Replacement (Automatic Transmission) or Shift Control Replacement (Manual Transmission).
