Removal Procedure

- Remove the UBEC. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Bracket Replacement
in Wiring Systems.NOTE: Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Notice in Cautions and Notices.
- Place a shop towel under the clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder reservoir in order to catch any additional fluid loss.
- Disconnect the clutch hose (1) from the clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder reservoir.
- Disconnect the clutch line (2) at the clutch actuator cylinder and the transaxle and drain the fluid into a suitable container.
