Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Position the oil cooler to the engine block.
  2. Install the oil cooler bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  4. Install the radiator outlet hose to the oil cooler.
  5. Position the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) at the oil cooler.

  7. Install the oil cooler outlet hose to the oil cooler.
  8. Position the oil cooler outlet hose clamp (2) at the oil cooler.
  9. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.2L (L61), 2.4L (LE5)) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) .
