Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the camshaft cover and bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  2. Install the ignition coils. Refer to Ignition Coil(s) Replacement .
  3. Install the engine harness clips (1 and 2) to the cover.

  4. Connect the intake (2) and exhaust (2) camshaft position actuator solenoid valve electrical connectors.

  5. Install the PCV hose to the cover.
  6. Position the PCV hose clamp.
  7. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
