Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (RPOs L61/LE5) or Starter Motor Replacement (RPO LSJ) .
  2. Fig 1: Disconnecting Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Wiring Harness Electrical Connector From CKP Sensor

  3. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor wiring harness electrical connector from the CKP sensor.
  4. Remove the CKP sensor bolt.

  6. Remove the CKP sensor.
