Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Fig 1: Identifying CKP Sensor

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the CKP sensor.
  4. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Connect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector to the CKP sensor.
  7. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (RPOs L61/LE5) or Starter Motor Replacement (RPO LSJ) .
