Observe the DTC Information with a scan tool.

If the scan tool displays that any other DTCs also failed this ignition, refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST - VEHICLE .
If only DTC P0017 is displayed, continue with Circuit/System Testing.
