Installation Procedure

  1. Insert the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve into the EVAP canister, with the valve aligned to the released position.

  3. Rotate vent valve clockwise to secure into the locked position.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices

  5. Install the EVAP canister and retaining bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Connect the electrical connector to the EVAP canister vent valve.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
