Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator (1).
  2. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185  . See Special Tools .

  4. Install the radiator inlet hose to the engine (1).
  5. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  6. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LE5, L61)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LNF) .
