Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve into the EVAP canister, with the valve aligned to the released position.

  3. Rotate EVAP canister vent solenoid valve clockwise in order to secure it into the locked position.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the EVAP canister and bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Connect the EVAP canister harness electrical connector (2) to the vent solenoid valve.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
