Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CKP sensor.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector to the CKP sensor.
  6. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement .
