Installation Procedure

  1. Position the AIR pump to the oil pan.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the AIR pump bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. Position and connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting at the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Position and connect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting at the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the AIR pump.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
