Preliminary Procedures Place the ignition switch in the OFF position. Apply and release the brake pedal several times until the pedal becomes firm to deplete the power brake booster vacuum reserve.
1	Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Clamp
2	Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Retaining Bracket Tip: Ensure the retaining bracket is properly positioned when routing the brake booster vacuum hose. Ensure the vacuum brake booster hose does not interfere with the coolant hoses or the coolant reservoir tank.
3	Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Clamp
4	Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve Tip: If necessary, a small amount of denatured alcohol can be used as an assembly aid for installing the vacuum brake booster check valve to the vacuum booster grommet. Do not use soap.
5	Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Tip: If necessary, a small amount of denatured alcohol can be used as an assembly aid for installing the vacuum hose to the vacuum brake booster check valve. Do not use soap.
