Removal Procedure

Remove the console trim plate. Refer to Console Front Trim Plate Replacement .
If necessary, remove the shift control knob. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement .

Remove the shift cable retaining clip.
Disconnect the shift cable from the shift control assembly.

Disconnect the shift lock solenoid harness connector (4).
Remove the shift control nuts (2).
Remove the shift control (3) from the vehicle.
