Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift control (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the shift lock solenoid harness connector (4).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the shift control nuts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the shift cable to the shift control assembly.
  5. If the shift control knob was removed, install the shift control knob. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement .
  6. Install the console trim plate. Refer to Console Front Trim Plate Replacement .
