Windshield Washer Pump Replacement (Pontiac)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the left front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump.
  3. Place a clean suitable container under the windshield washer solvent container and secure any windshield washer solvent loss.
  4. Remove the windshield washer pump hose at the washer pump spout.

Procedure

  1. Using two small flat-bladed tools, insert the flat blades under each edge of the washer pump.
  2. Pry outward slightly, in order to disengage the washer pump from the washer container.
  3. Remove the windshield washer pump from the container.
  4. Discard the windshield washer pump grommet.
