Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the crankcase balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: View Of Drive Belt Tensioner

  3. Remove the drive belt tensioner.
  4. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side .

  6. Remove the engine front cover to water pump bolt.

  8. Remove the remaining engine front cover bolts.
  9. Remove the engine front cover.
    • If the engine front cover gasket is damaged.
    • Remove the front engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
    • Remove the engine front cover gasket if it is damaged.
