Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP line into the plastic retainers (3).
  2. Connect the EVAP line to the plastic retainers (2).
  3. Connect the quick connect fitting (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Connect the EVAP line to the plastic retainers (2).
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  7. Install the retaining nuts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  8. Remove the caps or plugs from the purge pipe and the engine purge hose.
  9. Connect the purge pipe to the engine purge hose. Refer to Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Engine/Chassis .
