Passenger Seat Adjuster Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the cushion frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Frame Replacement .
  3. Unhook the lower attachments of the seat back cover and raise the cover enough to expose the recliner springs. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
  4. Align both recliner springs so that tension is held by the notch on the seat back frame. Ensure that the springs are completely seated in the notches before removing the adjuster support.
1 Seat Back Frame Nuts (Qty: 6)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tip:  Remove the bolt in the adjuster support to separate the adjuster sides.

Tighten:  20 N.m (14 lb ft)

2 Front Seat Adjuster Assembly
