Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the cushion frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Frame Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back cover and pad assembly. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
1 Recliner Handle Screw
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  20 N.m (14 lb ft)

2 Seat Back Recliner Handle Assembly
Tip:  Remove the recliner handle return spring.
