Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Pontiac G5 Pursuit, 2007 Pontiac G5, and 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: When removing or installing the backup lamp switch, do not use an open end wrench. Use only a socket in order to avoid damage to the switch assembly.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the backup lamp switch. using pipe sealant Saturn P/N 21485278 or equivalent.

    Tighten:  Tighten the switch to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  2. Connect the backup lamp connector (1).
  3. Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (4 Lug Wheel) or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (5 Lug Wheel) .
