Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the surge tank cap.

  3. Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp using J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  4. Remove the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank.

  6. Unclip the surge tank inlet hose from the underhood junction block bracket.

  8. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  9. Unclip the surge tank inlet hose from the fuel rail.

  11. Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp using J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  12. Remove the surge tank inlet hose from the engine.
