Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the cooling fan motor and bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (70 lb in).

Align the scribe marks on the cooling fan blade and motor shaft.
Install the cooling fan blade.

Install new retaining clips to the cooling fan blade.
Install the cooling fan assembly into the vehicle. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (2.0L (LSJ)) or Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (2.2L (L61), 2.4L (LE5)) .
