Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System - Charge Air Cooling System .

  3. Using the GE-47622  , compress the charge air cooler radiator inlet hose clamp at the charge air cooler radiator. See Special Tools .
  4. Remove the charge air cooler radiator inlet hose from the charge air cooler radiator.
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Using the GE-47622  , compress the charge air cooler radiator inlet hose clamp at the charge air cooler reservoir. See Special Tools .
  8. Remove the charge air cooler radiator inlet hose from the charge air cooler reservoir.
