Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover.
  2. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
  3. Disconnect the engine fuel feed pipe from the chassis fuel flex hose. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Use a back up wrench on the fuel rail and disconnect the fuel feed pipe.

  7. Remove the fuel feed pipe fastener located on the engine.
  8. Remove the engine fuel feed pipe.
