Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (RPO LSJ) or Starter Motor Replacement (RPOs L61/LE5) .
  2. Fig 1: Locating CKP Sensor

  3. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the CKP sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the CKP sensor (2).
