Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the secondary air injection (AIR) pump.

  4. Disconnect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting at the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Reposition the hose out of the way.

  7. Disconnect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting at the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  8. Reposition the hose out of the way.

  10. Remove the AIR pump bolts.
  11. Remove the AIR pump.
