Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump inlet hose quick connect fitting at the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Lower the vehicle.

  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  6. Disconnect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting from the air cleaner. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  7. Remove the AIR pump inlet hose.
