Removal Procedure

- Remove the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the clutch start switch (2) from the clutch pedal bracket.
- Remove the clutch pedal pivot nut.
- Remove the clutch pedal bracket to front of dash nuts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the clutch pedal position (CPP) switch.
- Depress the tabs of the clutch master cylinder pushrod retainer and release the clutch pedal from the pushrod.
- Remove the clutch pedal assembly from the vehicle.
- If replacing the clutch pedal, remove the CPP switch from the clutch pedal assembly. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Switch Replacement .
