Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Pontiac G5 Pursuit, 2007 Pontiac G5, and 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the CPP switch to the clutch pedal assembly. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Switch Replacement .

  3. Install the clutch master cylinder pushrod to the clutch pedal, ensure that the pushrod retainer is fully seated to the pedal.

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the CPP switch and install the clutch pedal assembly.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the clutch pedal bracket to front of dash nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  9. Install the clutch pedal pivot nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the clutch start switch (2) to the clutch pedal bracket.
  12. Adjust the CPP switch to the clutch pedal assembly. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Switch Replacement .
  13. Adjust the clutch start switch. Refer to Clutch Pedal Engine Start Switch Replacement .
  14. Install the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT .
