Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement

Callout Component Name
CAUTION: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution .
Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .Preliminary Procedure: Remove the brake master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement (Automatic)  or Master Cylinder Replacement (Manual) .
1 Connector, Brake Fluid Indicator Switch
2 Switch, Brake Fluid Level Indicator
3 Pin, Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir (Qty: 2)
4 Reservoir, Brake Master Cylinder
Tip: 
  • Drain the brake fluid from the reservoir.
  • Secure the reservoir mounting flange in a vise.
5 Seal, Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir (Qty: 2)
Tip:  Apply a small amount of clean Dot 3 brake fluid to the seals.
6 Cap, Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir
