Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement for the M86/N94 Getrag transmission or Transmission Replacement for the 4T40-E/4T45-E transmission.
  2. Remove the flywheel.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure not to damage the outside diameter of the crankshaft or chamber with any tool.
  4. Pry the crankshaft rear oil seal with a flat-bladed tool.
