Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment

  1. Adjust the rear compartment lid fore-aft and cross-car by loosening the hinge to compartment lid nuts (1). Position the rear compartment lid as needed.
  2. Adjust the front of the compartment lid up and down by loosening hinge to quarter panel bolts (2). Position the rear compartment lid as needed.
  3. Adjust the rear of the compartment lid by adjusting the lock striker up and down.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Tighten the rear compartment lid hinge to compartment lid nuts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Tighten the rear compartment lid hinge to quarter panel bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Tighten the latch striker bolts when the adjustments are complete.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
