Low Fuel

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Pontiac G5 Pursuit, 2007 Pontiac G5, and 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The driver information center (DIC) displays the low fuel indicator as determined by the powertrain control module (PCM)/engine control module (ECM). The PCM/ECM monitors the fuel level sensor signal and will request the LOW FUEL message from the body control module (BCM) when the fuel level is less than 14 percent. The DIC receives a GMLAN message from the BCM requesting display of the LOW FUEL message.
