Installation Procedure

  1. Position the I/P carrier to the body.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts/screws which secure the I/P carrier to the body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts/screws to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the defroster duct. Refer to Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Defroster in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  4. Install the center air outlet. Refer to Air Outlet Replacement - Center in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  5. Install the I/P air outlet ducts. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Air Outlet Ducts Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  6. Install the A/C control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  7. Install the steering column. Refer to Steering Column Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  8. Install the EBCM. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement in Antilock Brake System.
  9. Install the DRL module. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Control Module Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  10. Install the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Computing/Integrating Systems.
  11. Install the wiring harness. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Harness Replacement .
  12. Install the I/P. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Assembly Replacement .
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
