Powertrain Mount Balance Procedure - Lower Mount

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
IMPORTANT: Follow the balance procedure in the order listed in the following steps. Powertrain mounts must be tightened in sequence.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  3. Loosen the front transmission mount through bolt. Do not remove.

  5. Loosen the rear transmission mount through bolt. Do not remove.
  6. Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow powertrain to settle.
  7. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  8. Tighten the rear transmission mount through bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).

  10. Tighten the front transmission mount through bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).

  11. Lower the vehicle.
