Installation Procedure

  1. Install the drive belt tensioner.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    IMPORTANT: In order to obtain the proper torque when using any torque wrench adapter you must use the following formula: Pre-set Torque = Torque Wrench Length x Torque Desired divided by Torque Wrench Length + Extension Length.
  3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt.

    Use a J 45025 Torque Wrench Adapter  to tighten the drive belt tensioner bolt. See Special Tools .

    Tighten:  Tighten the drive belt tensioner bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
