Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Flywheel

  2. Remove the flywheel.
    3. IMPORTANT: Do not damage the outside diameter of the crankshaft or chamber with any tool.

  3. Pry the crankshaft rear oil seal with a flat-bladed tool.
