Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Harmonic Balancer Holder J38122-A

  2. Use J 38122-A  to prevent the crankshaft from rotating while loosening the crankshaft balancer bolt. See Special Tools .
  3. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt. Discard the bolt.

  4. Remove the crankshaft balancer.
