Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation

Tools Required 

J 35268-A  Camshaft/Front Main Seal Installer. See Special Tools .

  1. Install the seal into the front cover by driving it in from the timing chain side, using the J 35268-A  . See Special Tools .
  2. Ensure that the engine front cover is properly supported when installing the seal.
