Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new FTP sensor to modular fuel sender.
  2. Install the electrical connector to FTP sensor.
  3. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Malibu Sedan) or Fuel Tank Replacement (Malibu MAXX) .
  4. Refill the tank.
  5. Install the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
